Eligibility clarity
For Indian students, this generally means Class 12 certificate + marksheet in Science/PCB stream or accepted equivalent.
Usually interpreted as about 90% or above in Class 12/Higher Secondary academics, not NEET percentile.
Usually equivalent to Class 12 Science with Biology, Chemistry, Physics plus required board subjects.
Self-funded route where tuition and other costs are borne by student/family, not a full scholarship.

Indian applicant roadmap
Saudi admission and Indian registration are separate checks. Use this sequence to avoid choosing a prestigious university with an unsuitable international pathway.
For Indian and OCI students, NEET is the foreign-medical admission eligibility certificate and is valid for three years, including a pre-medical or language course.
Verify that the current intake accepts non-Saudis living outside Saudi Arabia, Indian Class 12 qualifications and educational-visa applicants.
Collect the curriculum, academic calendar, credit plan, medium letter, internship policy, hospital list and Saudi licensing-eligibility letter.
Indian school records may need board verification, attestation, diplomatic authentication and Saudi Ministry of Education equivalency.
Depending on the institution, prepare for SAT/ACT, Biology and Chemistry tests, IELTS/TOEFL, interview or a preparatory year.
Do not rely on a provisional offer. Obtain the final programme duration, invoice, refund rules, visa support, internship and licensing statement.
Prepare a valid passport, financial capacity, medical report, insurance, teaching-language evidence and guardian consent if under 18.
For NMC compliance, complete the course, clinical training and internship in the same institution and country.
NMC FMGL checklist
WDOMS is a directory check. Indian registration depends on the exact course, internship and local-licensing eligibility. Passing FMGE cannot repair a structurally non-compliant programme.
54 months
Minimum academic medical study with theory, practical and clinical training.
12 months
A separate hands-on internship in the same foreign medical institution.
English medium
Obtain a formal letter covering the complete medical programme.
Same institution and country
Avoid transferred, outsourced or third-country clinical training and internships.
Saudi licence eligibility
A non-Saudi graduate must be eligible for the local licensing pathway at par with local graduates.
10-year completion limit
The complete foreign medical course must be finished within ten years from joining.
MBBS in Saudi Arabia is a premium self-funded medical education route for academically strong Indian students with good Class 12 Science marks, NEET qualification, test readiness and strong financial planning.
Admission eligibility can vary by university and intake year. Students should confirm current criteria directly with the university before applying.
NEET is not the standard Saudi university admission test, but Indian students should keep NEET qualification for future India-return registration planning.
It depends on university. Some routes explicitly list SAT, ACT, English tests, or Saudi aptitude/achievement tests and should be counselled accordingly.
Saudi medicine routes in this list are largely premium self-funded options. Families should plan full-course tuition plus living, insurance, and administrative charges.
University-specific pages above are structured from your provided counselling brief. Families should validate final intake-wise rules directly from official sources before payment.
