Institutional position

Built through Kyrgyzstan–Türkiye cooperation

Manas University is an autonomous interstate institution with special state-university status in both founding countries. Its Faculty of Medicine operates with Türkiye’s University of Health Sciences.

Like KRSU and KSMA, it was not subject to Kyrgyzstan’s special 2026 medical-accreditation exercise; its status is separate from the ordinary one-year and six-year categories.

Turkish and Kyrgyz—not English

The published medical programme uses Turkish and Kyrgyz. Applicable international students complete compulsory preparation in both languages before the six medical years.

Two-country pathway

From language preparation to Istanbul clinical training

01

Bishkek

Preparation year

Compulsory Turkish and Kyrgyz preparation for applicable international students; no academic contribution is charged.

02

Bishkek

Medical Years 1–3

Approximately seven years

One compulsory preparation year plus six academic years of Medicine.

Highly limited intake

The published TR-YÖS table lists two international Medicine seats and a minimum score of 400.

Two living-cost plans

Budget separately for Bishkek and Istanbul accommodation, residence, insurance and travel.

New medical faculty

The first intake began in 2025–26, so no medical graduating batch or FMGE history exists yet.

Admission route

Plan every stage before applying

01

Check the international route

The published 2026 route uses TR-YÖS for international admission.

02

Meet the competitive threshold

The 2026–27 Medicine table lists two seats and a minimum TR-YÖS score of 400.

03

Confirm both languages

Obtain written confirmation of Turkish and Kyrgyz preparation, instruction and examination requirements.

04

Verify the two-country plan

Review the Bishkek and Istanbul academic, visa, residence, clinical and accommodation arrangements.

05

Review the joint documents

Confirm the curriculum, diploma structure, internship, licensing pathway and partner responsibilities.

06

Pay through verified channels

Use the university-instructed beneficiary and retain the invoice, bank record and university receipt.

Before payment
