Indian students can study medicine in Saudi Arabia, but the opportunities are limited, highly competitive and generally expensive. The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties permits interns to apply for its licensing-exam eligibility service, and its rules exempt graduates of Saudi universities from the usual one-year foreign-experience requirement for non-Saudis. However, an Indian student must obtain written university/SCFHS confirmation that a non-Saudi graduate can:

Saudi Arabia can be a high-quality but high-cost medical education destination for a small number of academically strong Indian students. It is most suitable when:
